Welcome to Word Flare!

Dear Readers and Writers,

Welcome to Word Flare! This website is an online platform for future writers to find a community and submit their work. This project is very close to my heart, as I have always found there to be zero middle ground between writing a great story and scrounging to get it published.

Word Flare is not an official Literary Journal, but it provides an environment where writers can get a sense of what the process may look like. Writing a cover letter, and editing your work to fit certain qualifications or specific requirements can be very daunting, so this forum is based on your writing and your writing alone. There will be no rejection of a story because of a cover letter. We want your story to speak for itself! In addition to creative works, this resource will have certain blog posts that surround writing processes, as well as tips and tricks for your reading pleasure.

All of our submission guidelines are posted on our “Submissions” tab at the top of the website, and if you are interested in learning more, explore the “About” tab. There is currently no financial compensation for selected submissions, and all communication will be done through our email: wordflarestories@hotmail.com.
